Huit ans après la faillite de Lehman Brothers, l’économie européenne reste faible et son système bancaire une menace pour la stabilité financière. Face à ce constat, Finance Watch a démarré en 2015 un projet de recherche pour comprendre les raisons de la sous-représentation de l’intérêt général dans le secteur bancaire, et identifier des pistes d’amélioration.
Pour ce faire, nous avons sollicité la société civile et le monde académique. Les résultats de nos recherches, qui comprennent des recommandations, seront présentés lors d’une conférence publique le 7 décembre 2016.
Cette conférence d’une journée combine sessions plénières et 8 sessions ou ateliers parallèles, afin de permettre aux participants d’explorer les multiples dimensions et réponses possibles aux (nombreuses) questions que soulèvent ce sujet.
